The Need for a Digital Insurance Solution

ICCI had a clear ambition: to expand its SME footprint across the Channel Islands while ensuring that brokers could access a digital insurance solution that streamlined applications and reduced manual processes. However, this new custom-built platform needed to integrate seamlessly with ICCI’s existing systems, preserving operational continuity while improving efficiency.

C5’s Applications Development Team, worked closely with ICCI to design a bespoke SME insurance digital broker portal that addressed their challenges and delivered a transformative solution. How we developed a Custom SME Insurance Platform To achieve ICCI’s objectives, we began with a Discovery Phase—engaging closely with their team to map out requirements and workflows. Through workshops and consultations, we designed a tailored software solution that optimised how SME policies were quoted and managed while ensuring a seamless experience for brokers. Our approach prioritised collaboration, working alongside ICCI’s internal teams and other suppliers to ensure seamless API integration with their existing systems.
